Due to the modular structure, compound inverters consisting of 6 or 12 PLATINUM converters can be assembled. Thus, the PowerBlock is an intelligent alternative to central inverters. Developed for rough weather conditions, the PowerBlock can be operated outdoors. A protective building is not necessary. It can be set up in a space-saving way, e. g. under elevated solar panels.

The PowerBlock is available with or without pre-wiring on the AC and DC side. Up to 12 inverters can be connected on one AC connection point.Every PLATINUM inverter can be integrated in the PLATINUM network.In large-scale PV systems, the modular surface can be split into partial surfaces with a power of e.g. 30 kW or 60 kW and distributed among the compound inverters.

Where only simple and effective weather protection is required, a single compound module can be used.
